Payment Methods

At Sophia & Grace London, we prioritise safety, convenience and a seamless checkout experience. We currently offer the following secure payment methods, compliant with applicable regulations in the United Kingdom.

1) Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

Fast and secure checkout via encrypted connections.

Select Credit/Debit Card at checkout.
Enter your card number, expiry date and security code (CVV/CVC).
Complete any 3-D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) step required by your bank.
Confirm your purchase. You will receive an order confirmation by email once authorised.

2) Accelerated Checkout (Shop Pay by Shopify)

Shop Pay offers a fast, secure checkout with saved details. Instalment options may be presented by the provider (where available and subject to their terms).

Choose Shop Pay at checkout.
Sign in with your Shop Pay credentials or mobile verification.
Confirm your order. A confirmation email follows when payment is processed.

Security & Compliance

All transactions are protected with SSL/TLS encryption.
Card data is processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
Our providers maintain PCI DSS compliance.
We support Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) under UK PSD2 (e.g. 3-D Secure challenges).

Authorisations & Charges

Your bank may place a temporary authorisation hold until payment is captured.
If a payment is declined, please verify card details, available balance and any SCA step, or try an alternative method.
For your security, we may perform additional checks (e.g. address verification, fraud screening) and contact you if needed.

Currency & Taxes

Orders are charged in GBP (£).
Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable; any taxes are displayed at checkout.
If your bank account is in another currency, your provider may apply conversion rates/fees.

Refunds of Payments

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Once processed on our side, banks/card issuers may take additional time to post funds.
Refunds are made in GBP (£). Any currency conversion fees charged by your provider are not reimbursed.

Failed/Declined Payments

Check card number, expiry date and CVV/CVC.
Complete any 3-D Secure/SCA step prompted by your bank.
Ensure sufficient funds or try an alternative card or Shop Pay.
If issues persist, contact your bank or reach us using the details below.

Fraud Prevention & Order Review

To protect customers, we may run automated and manual checks (AVS/CVV match, IP and velocity checks). Orders may be held temporarily for review. If we cannot verify details, we may cancel and refund the payment.
